Review on Nature Republic's By Flower BB Cream in No.2

Another one of my Nature Republic's purchase-BB cream!Besides the fact of me wanting to get my hands on the Exo standees,I also bought this because I just wanted to try it out-my very first BB cream!Plus I wanted to figure out what the hype is all about BB creams.Just like the other Nature Republic's stuffs,I got it from Songdo's Lotte Mart.So what is a BB cream?BB in short stands for beauty balms or blemish balms-being developed first in Germany by a dermatologist there.Later, its multi-purpose-ness became a hit in South Korea then throughout Asia & now almost the whole world :)So I thought why not I get one in a country that it's popularized in :)
Lovely lovely packaging with lil' flowery details

I got the one on the right-in natural beige, the other is no.1  in pink beige

My bare hands

I put on a make-up base first!In mint green

Smoothed out the base :)

Dabbed on the BB cream!Looks like choco blob

On its way to even things out..

Woooo done! You can see that it looks a lil' cakey on me
What it says on the packaging?
Nature Republic By Flower BB Cream SPF 35 PA++-BB cream with corn flower extract that makes skin baby soft.
The back part of the tube is mainly in Hangul.

How to use:
I checked the web,it says;Apply a moderate amount gently.Like with primers and bases I dab them with my middle finger on my cheeks with three separate consecutive blobs in each row.Minimum of two rows on each side of my cheeks. One blob on the nose & chin, two on the forehead. Then I spread them in an outward motion-as evenly as it can get :)If it looks cakey,I'd dab my face with a beauty sponge -so it'll look smoother!

Ingredients:
Corn flower extracts(main)

Volume:35ml

Price:5900 Korean Won approximately RM18.

My Verdict:
First,as always,I love almost any kinds of packaging of Nature Republic's products-simple yet adorable :)Especially the flower details they have just like the ones from its Botanical Vanilla line. It's in a simple and slender squeeze-me upside down tube.I like that the nozzle has a tiny hole to it-so that I can better control the amount I need to squeeze out and not go too overboard with the amount at once :)-unlike some tubes such as this-.- .When I first dabbed it on it had quite a heavy feel to it if you know what I mean.Oh before I'd put them on,I had put on the Nature Republic's Botanical Vanilla make-up base-to minimize the pores' appearances.Plus I thought the BB cream will look better with it on.But to my disappointment,it did not T.T.It turned out to be cakey and powdery and it's no where near to a smooth finish...I also think that the next time I ever do try it,I'll have to mix it with another darker toned BB cream as this one had an unnatural brightening effect on my skin.Right now I'm eyeing on The Body Shop's All-In-One Colour Adapting BB Cream-which I came across last Wednesday.I may need to try that one out!On a plus side,my skin felt less oily even by fourth hour after putting it on!Usually it'll start getting oily by the second hour. One thing's for sure, it has a nice "flowery" smell-well I think they're flowers :pPlus it's affordable-that is,if you happen to buy it in South Korea.I don't know about anywhere else but Malaysian branches of Nature Republic sell them at almost three times the price you can get in South Korea -.-.Lastly,I'd have to say I'd surely be looking out for other BB creams-just not this one.But I'll tell you how it goes if I try mixing this one out with Body Shop's :) Not sure if it's safe enough to mix them but who knows it'll might work!Ok that's all for today see ya!
Ps I know today was supposed to be my first day in the hospital, but I woke up with a really bad headache so I thought I'd miss the first day.And I got super bored so I thought I might as well update you guys with some reviews.Hopefully this helped :)

Review on Nature Republic's Botanical Vanilla Make-Up Base-in Vanilla Green

Hi all!So my next review on my latest purchases of make-up items is going to be on Nature Republic's Botanical Vanilla Make-Up Base in Vanilla Green :)First,I have to say that one of the main reason for me to be having sooo many Nature Republic's items is because of me wanting to get more of the free Exo members' cardboard standees :pI know I know I'm crazee -.-.Only Exotics can get me T.T...Enough said I'm an Exo Freak-period hee.Moving on to the product....The second, kinda also one of my "main" reason for getting this' because I have heard great reviews on make-up bases-so thought it would be great to have one for myself!Again, I got this at Songdo's Lotte Mart-a last minute purchase.I also like this base because it has got vanilla extracts in it :) I love love vanilla-most of the things I own have got a lil' of vanilla in them-my body cream, shower cream(added with coconut yum!),perfume-love its ice cream too!So next to Exo and face masks-I'm a Vanilla Freak too yikes :pThere're two varieties of bases in this Botanical Vanilla line-one being in green and the other in pink.I got it in green because my skin has got a reddish complexion, especially at the cheeks. And green coloured bases can help correct and calm the redness woot.Plus it preps your skin for foundation or BB/CC cream too! Here's how it looks like...
Here it is!Sorry for the wires & notebook at the back :p

Another of its variety in this line

My bare hands before applying the base-you can spot a small scar :p

Liking the mint green colour!

Glides easily..

The skin's brightened out after spreading evenly! The appearance of the scar is somehow reduced!
Imagine what it'll do to pores..

What it says on the packaging :
Botanical Vanilla Make-Up Base SPF20 PA++ - This make-up base enriched with vanilla extract for fair complexion

How to use:
Since the description on the tube is mainly in Korean,I followed the how tos of using this from the web,it goes;Apply a moderate amount according to skin's texture.
I like using my fingers to dab them on at first especially on the areas of my skin that's prone to redness-CHEEKS!Then I spread them using my index finger. If it looks blotchy or if you want to smooth out the look you can dab the areas  you've put it on, with those beauty sponges-so the excesses will be removed :)

Ingredients:
The main ones I got from the web;Vanilla extract,Mineral Water

Net Weight: 35g

Price:5900 Korean Won-approximately RM18.But it's cheaper because I got it from its manufacturing country itself-it's more costly in Malaysia or anywhere else :p So that's why I always suggest to buy things from koreandepart.com :)

My Verdict:
I'll start with the packaging first :)It's simple, small, easy to be carried around, plus I love the mint coloured flower details on the tube-where they have it on products from the Nature Republic's Botanical line. The scent of the base is just "powdery"and lightly scented nothing overwhelming-which's a good thing!I like the fact that it's green in colour-because green based bases can conceal the redness on my cheeks.Instead, for people who's skin is not sensitive or not prone to redness or to whom that just needs a healthy pinkish glow to their skin,I suggest to get this in pink. The texture is smooth and lightweight not heavy when applied,so you won't really feel stuffy. It glides easily too!It also minimized the appearance of the pores on my face woot.It also has an added plus point with it being a SPF20-so you don't have to worry about putting on sunscreen!Meanwhile, the downside of this base would be the fact that it might not be appropriate for all skin colour-especially to people with darker skin tones. For myself,I'm quite tan-so when I put it on,I have to make sure I don't go overboard with the amount that I put on at a time-because when I start to spread it,it'll come out as being too "white"-or a fake whitish ghost look.I wish it could tone down in its brightening effects' department. If it does so,I can definitely see this as the only thing to put on,on a very hectic day-without the need to apply BB/CC creams or even foundation!Because it already has the upper hand in minimizing the appearance of pores. But when I applied BB cream after applying this-it did reduce the "ghost" look a little. So whenever I use this,I have to make sure I apply BB cream after.Which makes sense-because it is only a base-but I'm just being optimistic to find a multi-purpose make-up base :D Right now I think it'll be a keeper-because I'm not planning to get any make-up bases in the near future, but I may have to leave it out from my haul once I find a better one :/ But it did the things it said it'll do-that's brightening. But people with darker skin tones would have to test this one out first before purchasing :) .Hopefully my review helped!Bye!Tomorrow's my first day in the hospital for third year(yikes!)-wish me luck!

Review on Nature Republic's Botanical Pore Pact

After a long break from making product reviews I finally am making time for a new one :p Today's product would be Nature Republic's Botanical Pore Pact.I'm excited to write about this baby!Bought it last minute at Songdo's Lotte Mart on the second last day of our holiday in Seoul.I have to say this' one of my very first purchase of make-up item besides the ones I've listed-of the the other great make-up items I got from Korea.I've always been more of a "skincare prioritizer" kinda person never was a fan of make-ups.But I got a little adventurous in my purchases(after non-stop consecutive night strolls  in Myeongdong :p),because click here for moreBeauty Diary

My Exo Idols' Socks!

Too excited to wait on this one :pI got myself a set of Exo socks!Wasn't really confident on finding these socks because I heard that they were "almost extinct"-as in not being sold much anymore. So I was only hoping that I could just find myself Exo Kris' only. But hey!Didn't expect to find all 12.All 12 of them I got to find in Myeongdong!Chanyeol's was the hardest to find-because most of his were sold out but was soo thankful to find his at last! Now I'm trying to decide whether to use them or not.Too precious to be used!!!Should have bought another set so I can keep the other or maybe hang them on the wall... -.-Ok ok crazee fan girl mode alert :p Besides the 12,I got myself my other biases' girl idols' socks-Seohyun of SNSD & Park Bom's of 2NE1 :)These socks were super cheap-costing only at 1000 Korean Won approximately RM3!There were only two types of socks that I managed to find -one of them having the members' name in Hangul  & the other in English.I liked the ones in English better wanted to find myself more of them but only got to find Kai's.D.O's,Suho's & Sehun's in that type :( But that didn't bother me much.Anyway what I'm really trying to say was that I looked like a socks' collector in Seoul-I 'd be asking the shopkeepers repeatedly to confirm some of the members' socks' that're written in Hangul-they'd give me these surprised faces like I'm some crazy foreign Exo fan, which I positively am :p I bugged the same shopkeeper 3 days in a row ;p Searching for Chanyeol's socks -.- Too much of a fan & too "motivated" to be embarrassed hahax.I've just realised most of my sentences have words like "I got myself/I bought myself..".Can't help it! I'm just too excited to share them with you & what I'd gotten from there(here it goes again :p)
Here are my lovely lovely socks!
Upper row(left to right)-Kris,Lay,Chen,Luhan,Xiumin,Tao
Lower row(left to right)-Suho,Chanyeol,Kai,D.O,Baekhyun,Sehun

Seohyun's & Park Bom's :)
